We are funded by the Ministry of Justice to offer free legal services to our community. Our free services are aimed at those on low or on incomes who have difficulty accessing justice In the Porirua Kāpiti area.
free income tested services
If your income qualifies you for legal aid you qualify for our free legal services and the use of our free lawyers. We also have a discretion to offer our services to those who are on the living wage or lower. This is done on a case by case basis.
To get Community Law Centre help you just need to meet the income test and live in Porirua & Kāpiti.

We help those who need free legal services to deal with the establishment - Police, Government Departments, Councils, Landlords, Employers.
We do use our free lawyers to help members of our community fight with each other but are happy to provide legal information to both sides in Porirua & Kāpiti.
we offer a walk in Service no appointment needed.
You can access our free legal services by just walking in Monday to Friday 9 am to 4 pm.
