LIMITED OR WORK LICENSES & Costs
For those people whose who live in Porirua and Kāpiti or have been disqualified or suspended from driving in the Porirua District Court AND are eligible to apply for work or limited licence we can help you get a licence.
$550 + GST + Court filing fees
DISQUALIFICATION
If you are disqualified in court, there is normally an automatic 28 day stand down from the day of disqualification BEFORE you can apply for a work/limited license. But you can get it ready and file it on the 29th day.
If you engage with us immediately after your disqualification, there is plenty of time to get your application ready.
DEMERIT SUSPENSION
In most cases you can apply for a work/limited license immediately after you have been served your demerit suspension. If you know a suspension is coming, come and see us immediately to start preparing your application.
APPEARING IN COURT
Yes, you may need to appear in court. Normally it is a five-minute appearance. We will appear with you and do the talking.
